Our contribution to the energy transition

The photovoltaic site on the roof of our company building produces the company’s electricity needs.

CO2-free energy supply was the goal we aimed to achieve.

The photovoltaic site is a great success!
Today, we can look with pride at a plant that makes our company largely self-sufficient. We are able to supply ourselves with sustainable energy and, in addition, let other consumers participate in it. On sunny days, our photovoltaic system produces far more electricity than we need ourselves. The surplus is fed into the public grid and is thus a valuable contribution to the energy transition.

The energy self-sufficiency project was planned and realized with EWR, our regional energy supply partner. The EWR is a strong advocate for sustainable energy on all channels, from private households to business. The plant on our roof inspired the EWR to a video post with pictures of the plant, statements of Mr. Stefan Schock, managing director of Slee, as well as the sales director of the EWR, Mr. Dieter Lagois.
