Inside SLEE – Wolfgang Schenkenberger

Companies are always shaped by their people – the same goes for SLEE

Today: Wolfang Schenkenberger

Why is a 79-year-old working on the assembly line at SLEE?

  • He’s a born technician and has worked in the technical field his entire life.
  • He sold his company in his early 60s and actually wanted to do “nothing” anymore, but after some time in retirement, he got bored.
  • He came into contact with SLEE 12 years ago and has since then been working about 15 hours a week on the assembly line.
  • His work quality is top-notch.
  • SLEE keeps him busy and young.
  • The work is a lot of fun, keeps him active, and brings him into contact with younger people.
  • In his free time, long e-bike tours keep him going.
  • He’s always fit and in a good mood – he hasn’t been sick a single day in 2025.
  • There’s no end in sight to his time at SLEE. The next milestone is his 80th birthday next year.
