Oberhausen 2026 – Histologica X

Take a seat!

An open booth, free access, a worktable with lab chair – the whole setup calls out to you: “Take a seat!”

The setup phase already gave a hint: something was happening at the SLEE booth. Built diagonally with a corner, drawing everyone’s gaze towards the inside, waiting for visitors.

The highlight: the Ergotec worktable. Height-adjustable, complete with a lab chair and a fully equipped workstation. From left to right, the MPS C cooling plate was lined up next to the fully-automatic precision microtome CUT 6062, followed by the Slidetec Water / Heat water bath & slide warmer combination. With a scanner and printer in between, the fully equipped laboratory workstation was complete!

The Staintec Mini special stainer, the brand-new Frosttec coolable cassette clamp, and various consumables (paraffin, blades, and slides) filled in the picture.

Interest was high, and visitors crowded around the booth. Heiko Drzonek, Matthias Trilling, Kevin Dietrich, and Alexander Diehl provided information and advice, took inquiries, and handed out beverage cans.

Much to the crowd’s delight, there was also a great marketing promotion: Follow us and get a free gift! Response was huge. Dozens of plush clouds and SLEE socks were handed out over the counter.

Along the way, old acquaintances were renewed, relationships were nurtured, and new contacts were made.

On Saturday, a number of visitors returned to the SLEE seminar titled “The Influence of Fixation on Frozen, Cryo, and Paraffin Sections.”

Designed as think tank, the focus was on exchange and discussion with Ute Neubacher and Dr. Thu Huong Hoang from the Department of Neurophysiology at Ruhr University Bochum.

A quick look at the attendance figures:

“We were particularly pleased to welcome 382 participants to our anniversary celebration –more than ever before!

In addition to numerous visitors from Germany, participants from Austria (7) and Switzerland (13) were also in attendance.

36 companies from a wide variety of industries helped ensure that our exhibition once again became a place for networking and engaging, informative conversations.” (Source: Histologica)

Thank you to all visitors, the interested ones, to both our critical and appreciative visitors, to the seminar participants, and, of course, to the entire Histologica team, without whom this event would not have been possible.

You can find highlights from the trade show here and on social media.

SAVE THE DATE: The next Histologica will take place in Oberhausen on April 23 & 24, 2027. Will we see you there?
